@@marilagi "It isn't that good", as in, not literal perfection that necessitates ONE artist having exclusivity of any kind, let alone on boss themes. He has his moments, but the guy is not a constant stream of masterpieces. Furthermore, MANY of his tracks(particularly his coordination of synth and rock) sound VERY samey(I can LITERALLY provide SEVERAL examples, including ones from previous games). You DON'T want too much of that. THIS is why they use as many composers as they do.

@@marilagi i personally think singa shouldn't handle electro and guitars/rock, since he's way too inconsistant. He does have good tracks in those fields (i.e. Crossing A/A and All-Out Attack), but he really shines on the calmer tracks, or classier ones if that makes sense (Step Ahead or Seductive Shudder)

The melody is good in both but it feels like you're fighting with no consequences attached to the fight while Exceed and this one sound like you're fighting a live or die battle against a really strong opponent

Now I'm inspired to make a super boss that would be fought with this ost, Here goes!: Boss: Black Knight (I know this trope is overused but I like it soooo) Weapon: Spiritual Sword (can change forms into different type of swords) Elemental Weaknesses: None Status Ailments Resistance (probability ti resist, not like in the game where 200% means it's weak against it, I find it more clear this way): Immune to vanish, Immune to instakill, Immune to Nightmare, Immune to sleep, Faint 200%, Freeze 200%, Burn 50%, the rest 100% Crafts: Gentle Rain (eastern longsword): Flash through your opponents with refined movements that cut through their will to fight (30% chance of applying Magical Attack -25% for 3 turns) Area M Lightning Flash (Longsword): Overwhelm your opponent pushing it into numbness with a flurry of piercing strikes. (Delay +20, 50% damage can pierce through Barriers) Single Target Blade Maelstrom (Double-Blade Sword): Attract your opponents with sheer spiritual pressure generating a pool of energy surrounding you, then swing your sword around you like a spiral to explode that energy, smiting everything to dust!. (60% of applying Faint for 1 turn, can stack) Area XL Tyrannical Judgement (Greatsword): Summon a ray of spiritual energy into your sword, swing it and destroy every obstacle in your way. (70% chance of applying Strengh -50% for 5 turns, 50% chance of applying Seal 3 turns) Straight Line Unbreakable Will (Self-Buff): Call upon the pain you endured through time and convert it into the force that will break an evil only you have witnessed, never give up your own justice! (Strengh, Defense, and Magical Defense +50% for 5 turns, Max Barrier 2 stacks, grants an inmediate turn after use) Starfall (when below 30% of total HP): This is the end, gather your last strength to summon an otherworldly force, casting it through a portal linked to who knows where. Once the star touches the earth, everything will be burned to ash. (20% chance of instakill, 30% chance to vanish, nullifies all buffs, CP -30). If protected by barriers, cp draining effect does not activate. 1 turn of preparation. Area All Passive effects: Sever Link: all attacks have a 30% chance of breaking character links for 4 turns (cannot be dispelled) Spirit Focus: A great use of one's power can surpass many obstacles. When attacking characters protected by barriers, 15% of total damage will pierce through them. Elemental Seal: your spiritual pressure weakens your enemies resolve, being detrimental to their spiritual prowess. When below 30% of total HP, your energy explodes, releasing all of your last strength to defeat your enemies (scenery of battle changes, filled with spiritual energy flowing chaotically everywhere), Crit Rate +30% (permanent), damage received -20%, Strength +50% (permanent), Ether Protection activation chance goes up to 20%, Relentless Eruption upgrades (base delay improved to -25, extra delay improved to -30), Elemental Seal can seal up to 2 elements at the same time. Unlocks Starfall Craft. Once below 15% of total HP, grants immunity to all status ailments (present ailments will be purified, permanent) Mechanics: Anti-Order: Variant 1: all stats -25% for 9 turns Variant 2: Arts are nullified for 3 turns Variant 3: S-Crafts are blocked for 4 turns Critical Follow: 20% chance of extra attack, will be critical and has a 20% chance of applying Faint 1 turn, 70% chance of attacking last target and 30% chance of attacking the whole party. Counter S-Break: Whenever an enemy uses his S-Craft/Break, Black Knight will interrupt, using his own S-Craft First. S-Craft: Eternal Enlightment: Explode all of your energy for a mighty burst of attacks beyond the speed of light that will obliterate your enemies into nothingness. Area All Self-Buff: Strengh, Defense and Magical Defense +100% for 5 turns (can stack 2 times). Turn Acceleration (Delay -30). Next attack will be critical.
