Falcon BMS 4.37 | THE MIRAGE 2000 D

Im so into Falcon BMS lately and what an amazing work they have done with 4.37. Here's a cool video i made honoring the amazing Mirage 2000.
The Mirage 2000 is not fully implemented inside the simulator in terms of cockpit functionality and proper flight and weapons systems but still flies okay and at least allows me to film some nice shots.

No other game has this amount of mod capability. I play STALKER, Blitzkrieg, Richard Burns Rally and other heavily moddable classics, but BMS is just unreal.

Hello 👋 thank you! Well you can use Mission Commander and add/replace any type of aircraft with any type of aircraft. You can find tutorials online if you google a bit 🙌 So yes you can

Thank you 🙏 Well Falcon BMS is somewhat difficult for filmmaking since it has no replay files and limited camera mobility and a bunch of other limitations compared to DCS for example. So in short words, I just experimenting with these few camera options in BMS and try my best using my imagination in what I perceive as good looking.

How good is the mirage 2k in BMS? Is it like flying the Mirage 2k in DCS or is it noticeably more "F-16"-y?

First off thanks for watching man! No, the mirage inside Falcon BMS isn’t properly developed. It’s certainly playable and fun but utilizes F16 systems, hud and avionics if I’m not mistaken. I mainly fly the F16 so don’t take my word for granted.

@@joelthorstensson2772 BMS still stands strong in the simulator industry - field nonetheless. Its not a monetized product like DCS is, which in my humble opinion makes it a bit more genuine and authentic and attracts a bit more mature audience as its more complete and complicated when it comes to the F16.

A proper pilot did a video comparison of dcs vs bms, and he simply conclude that : flight model are strictly similar, war elect system are strictly equivalent, because bms lacks a lot of thing and dcs lacks a lot of things as well. Eventually no one is ahead than the other.

@@DJeb86 I totally respect your opinion. I won’t go down the road of comparing again since it’s pointless. Each sim is a different world to me. I have a big number of reasons about why I personally prefer BMS but is all subjective and people should always enjoy the freedom of their choosing. In the end of the day is all about what each player/simmer prioritizes regarding fun, realism, community and support. Yup I’m a proud BMS fanboy ♥️

Ναι θα το ήθελα. Χρειάζεται αρκετό χρόνο και ισχυρό υπολογιστή να σηκώσει τα απαιτητικά γραφικά που θα προσδώσουν τον ρεαλισμό που επιθυμώ. Το μηχάνημα μου δεν είναι όσο δυνατο θα ήθελα για να δημιουργήσω κάτι ακόμα καλύτερο. Όμως είναι στα σχέδια μου για το μέλλον.

@@PatrickJamesBeckett Create a Mission with Tactical Engagement and then create a flight package with the Mirage from the list of jets. If you want more details please refer to the BMS manuals. It’s a study sim and it’s impossible for me to give you all answers. It’s what all of who fly BMS did 🙌🤓
