Looking forward to your series. I have sequential missions of a campaign in MP. Did not have your RWR in handoff mode good thing it did not affect you. Thanks for sharing.

I never managed to refuel mid air, how did you do that? :D Managing the throttle is the hardest for me, is seems like you need to constantly go back and forth

It just takes a lot of practice really. If I notice I start to move back I advance the throttle forward a slight bit and start advancing it back again. You basically got to be ahead of the aircraft, and move the throttle knowing that it takes time for the engines to spool up. I hope that helps!

I really wish knee board setup was built into the falcon BMS UI while in the briefing room instead of it being a separate thing you have to do each mission. Its honestly kind of annoying so I just take a picture of the brief with my phone and use that as my knee board lol

You can see the kneeboard on your pilot's knees, just need to turn on the pilot model

@Thunder1-1DannyBee i know but I'm talking about the setup for each mission with WDP. I got annoyed by it the first time, so I stopped using it and just use a picture on my phone. If they could figure out a way to implement into the sim itself then I would use it.

@@robertwallace4515 I switch to using EZBoards from wdp, from what i remeber you dont have to leave the game for it to work.

I think I prefer BMS better than DCS currently, because 1 it runs a lot better on my pc and 2 the dynamic campaign is a lot of fun.

The F16 is the best what you could get in a public sim they are using the real NASA FM and when you are a IRL Pilot you know how a plane feels like. DCS is just a modern game and BMS is a SIM. Even in BMS you don‘t need 3 AMMRAMS in BVR, the PK is like in RL with 0.59.

I was a total noob in DCS and then I found BMS and now I'm a total noob here, but apparently there's a LOT of people jumping ship because of the insane VR performance making up a ton of fun (in my case at least) over visual fidelity. Loving it although I will admit it's really tough to get going as a noob to flight sims :D hoping to learn some from you, subbed! Quick questions: What happens if you die? New campaign or just respawn? And can you choose sides? Or are you always on BLUEFOR?

If you die, you just go back to the 2d screen (where you frag missions). You don’t need to start a new campaign. As for switching to opfor, I think you might be able to in the campaign. The campaign is def a lot of fun!

You can fly any squadron including North Korea and China. You just pick which squadron you want to be in, and if it is red, you will be on red side. Default campaign of course will have no f16 for DPRK or PRC . If you want them to have f16 for player, there is a “mission commander” program that lets you swap out or add any units including aircraft. You can google “Falcas Mission Commander” to find it. That’s not a typo above. The guy that made the program is called Falcas.
