Love seeing this soap once again. Makes me want to be the whole series on DVD. Jane Wyman really was the "J R" of Falcon Crest. And her style was out of this world.

I think Kim Novak's surgeon trained at the University of Madame Tussauds...Jane Wyman always looked fabulous...even though this was in the 80s she never wore those tacky XL shoulder pads or had XL hair; everything she wore suited her. Old Hollywood glamour!

Kim Novak had grounds for a lawsuit and could have been joined by loyal fans-I remember her when I was a child, watching Saturday afternoon movies with my mother. Deeply sorry about it.

Thank you falconcrestblog! Since you mentioned it, yeah Season 7 has so much great stuff to make a video for, if you have the time. You really hit the nail on the head for choosing Season 6 (and 7?), as they were Falcon Crest at its best with their witty characters and intriguing storylines; I couldn't wait for Friday nights, during those years!

It's interesting, that Jane Wyman, didn't do an Aaron Spelling show considering he always said she signed his first check-as a writer. When she had her first anthology television series in the late fifties.

I don't get it. What's Lorenzo got that I haven't? I mean...O.K., so he's about a hundred times more handsome than I am. So he gets around on gorgeous custom motorcycles and used to race Porsches for fun. So he can tear the average citizen limb from limb with his umpteenth-degree-black-belt martial arts prowess. So he was dealt the daunting task of getting up close and personal with Apollonia for most of the ten episodes she appeared on "Falcon Crest" and only had a massive paycheck to show for it. (Yeah, the ol' showbiz gig sucks sometimes, doesn't it guys?) Yeah, that's right, SO WHAT! If Lorenzo came to work as a bus driver for the RTC System of Southern Nevada, I'd SMOKE him any day of the week! Yeah, he wouldn't look so mahhhh-velous then, WOULD HE, dahhhh-lings? Besides, he may have a "six-pack," but I got a "keg!" (Hey, Lorenzo, in truth, I've always loved you man, especially in "Renegade." You know I'm only kidding, right? 'Cause that's what I do, see. I kid. I'm a kidder.)

Travis James Agreed. Earl Hamner departed and they brought in some new hack producer who bragged that he had never watched the show before. He amped up the campiness and the cheeziness.
