Falcon Crest Theme Mix (1981-1990)

One of my favorite TV show themes, (from one of television's top prime-time shows of that era) is the theme from "Falcon Crest". I've enjoyed it since I was a very young kid and it remains one of my faves to this day. Here I mixed the majestic original theme with the "Yanni-esque" new age sounding theme from the final season.

I just want to say that I love the theme music to Dallas, Knots Landing, Falcon Crest, and Dynasty. These are all classic Timepieces. I could listen to these in my car. If I pull up to your stoplight in your city and I'm playing one of them, please don't think I'm weird. LMAO!

Falcon Crest and Dynasty (season 1) had the best opening themes. Love them.

Yes, they were the very best. Dynasty and Falcon Crest had more style than the other nighttime drama series. "Whatever Dallas has Dynasty has more." as one journalist remarked. Dynasty season 1 theme was more epic than the following seasons.

I always preferred the majestic sound to the original theme. I remember as a kid this show was my parents favorite. When Stereo broadcasting first began my Dad would blast the speakers during the intro. He even recorded it at one point. :)

Dallas Dynasty and Falcon Crest where on Sweedish Television when i was a kid and this was the only one i liked to watch with my Mother !

I loooooved watching Falcon Crest. The fights between Angela and Melissa were awesome. I miss the show. I love the theme song.

@@Samura2175 Yes, Maggie was deep character. I liked her very much. At the beginning Maggie admired and disliked Angela at the same time. And then, after Chases death and also because of Richard and also because she sold Chases vineyards to Angela - both women had a closer, warmer relationship. I liked that. It was good writing.

The original theme was brilliant....second to Knots Landing IMO. But that final series theme - what was that all about? It was so ill-matched to the series. I bet Jane Wyman thought to herself WTF!
