Nice cast Falcon! Guass rifle refers to rifles that use magnets to propel projectiles. The Gauss part comes from German scientist and mathematician Carl Frederich Gauss, who made a lot of discoveries and contributions in the field of electromagnetism.

Carl Friedrich Gauss, the german physicist who came with a law named after him. The gauss rifle is a concept of a weapon based on gauss law instead of using powder.

I Always thought coil and rail guns were an interesting concept, and am surprised the technology hasn't really developed much. I get there's a lot of dense energy potential in powder, and it's a proven and familiar technology, but there are so many inherent advantages to electrical weapon systems.

"Guass" is a pretty generic sci fi weapon type that pretty much includes any gun that's magnet based. Mostly refers to infantry weapons though.

@MarcelGomez-pi2lm Your units cannot attack while taking shots if theres smth in the way you have to target fire it to destroy it. Thats why this is unbeatable with melee attacking units

Best ZvT ever. Light had the perfect comp I’ve seen to beat ultra and defiler late game (SK hybrid with fire bats and tanks)

I came here looking for that situation. If I had to guess what happened I'd say right-clicking a floating/moving building just follows it, whether when stationary the SCV would repair.

Obviously it was a great turnaround, but I was also impressed that in the early game, he harassed in like three different ways with small investments each time. He didn't go overboard or all-in but just did cost-effective harass attempts. Really good.

Nice cast. To answer your question about how hard it would be to implement a slower production depending on damage would be fairly simple. lets take a barrack since its a simple 1000 max hp. you have a 800 / 1000 hp. ((remaining*100)/max = 20% missing hp. Then you apply either a flat debuff of lets say production speed -= missingHP making it so that at 100% it goes at full speed and reduces in a linear way towards 0% There could also be a curved approach using a sigmoid function but then its a bit more complicated but not by much.

"Gauss" is a real scinece thing by the way, you can easly google it - it is fully real scinece method in our world, just not expanded enough in our time to become a real weapon, which is easly can be dealt with in fantastic game "about future")

Light was testing out if bunkers are better empty vs with troops in them and seems he decided it is better to put troops in them.

I like SC's asymmetrical balancing. Sure, Irradiate is incredibly good, but so is Dark Swarm. So is the fact that Zerg's "supply depots" are flying scouts with detection and a drop ability. So is the fact that Zerg hatcheries can make a bunch of Mutalisks one minute and ground units the next -- they don't have to commit to having a certain number of starports and a certain number of barracks.

It won't be that hard to put a value to decrease production of damaged buildings, either a static one or depending on the damages, but... that'd be kinda useless/unbalanced in Starcraft ^^'

As Falcon has said before, static defense is made only when is really needed. Probably Queen felt like he could deal with a couple of Valkeries than spending resources on static defense.

is it just me, or has Queen seemed SLOW and continues LOSING one after another? Just watched another RECENTLY cast Queen match on here, Queen lost THAT one as well, and has in the past. Frankly, seems to have perhaps started losing his edge in recent games that have been recast any way.
