Kids today know the cops can't do anything to them and so take full advantage. We've had cops come by out house a couple of times because they want our video footage and they tell us it's happening all the time. We're next to a shopping centre and a few schools so we capture quite a lot.

Photography in public in the US does not require consent of those being photographed because there is no expectation of privacy in a public space. Touching them after they agree to pose with you on the other hand is a creep move and skirting with a sax-tual battery charge.

Where I live going to the beach is a peaceful wonderful time spent in nature. No crowds at all with abundant wildlife all around . Beaches like this are chaotic places with noise pollution all around. Drunk ignorant morons of both sexes causing havoc among the other peoples. Crowded waters with no privacy . Trash everywhere, predators everywhere, and the leniency given to criminals . This emboldens them to carry on because there’s no consequences they fear.

A beach is a public space , about as public as it gets , you can take pictures of anything you like including girls and children !! And the Lifeguard saying that he was making the girls uncomfortable , too bad !!! That's life , we are all made uncomfortable at some time in our lives , we can't arrest everyone !!
