I never understood what the deal was with Squid Game when it first came out. Earlier this year I sat through all 9 episodes back to back and I can definitely see why it was such a big deal. Thankfully they’re making a second season but it’s not slated for release until 2024 is what I saw.

Without spoiling anything; I honestly thought it to be yet another average death game, which there are a lot of.. most of em with character depth and development of a cooked potato. Squid Game however, is on a whole other level. There is isn't much else to really say without giving away stuff, so I'd honestly recommend watching it.
