This is gold my man! For 1989 you technically all in :) cell phone, pc and probably 2 Nak Dragons. I got on tour the following spring. as an 18 year old. 42 shows later on March 19 1995 I said adieu to my favorite jug band. Peace.

Great video from back in the day! I was at the Philly shows. Great memories. Philly was still rocking after that epic JFK show a few months earlier on 7-7-89. I also saw JGB a month prior at the Spectrum on 9/3/89 and Weir and Wasserman opened up. Boy, I miss them days.

5NinthAvenueProject channel guy was vlogging throughout the 80s (found an audience on KZbin years later after his passing), and it's a brilliant time capsule of an era.

I was at the gate at Hampton, Va., but couldn't get past the security because I didn't have a ticket on me. But I caught up with the boys for both Miami, Fla. shows, and got my first "Dark Star", I'd been seeing The Dead since 1980, Lewiston, Maine, an awesome show in it's own right. I saw a second "Dark Star" on 4/1/91 in Greensboro, N.C. and that one was truly EPIC. "Dark Star>Drums>Space Dark Star". About 45 minutes of sustained insanity. Thanks for your report, it brought back some hidden memories.

I would like to point out that tickets for the Warlocks were available at several locations in VA. I got mine at the Roanoke Civic Center. I believe they were also available in Richmond. But the crazy thing was, they were still available at the box office for the 2nd night.

Yes, Adam Katz. Tshirts were quickly made for the security scum, on the back it said "Don't Murder Me" Isn't that still an open case?
@dreamswedreamed Жыл бұрын
Think so.
@biblebear6795 Жыл бұрын
Yes, it is still an open case with a $40,000 reward for info that leads to an arrest! That Adam Katz story struck me hard back then because I was the same age as he was when it happened.
