Such a beautiful look! Like I wrote in your last video, I struggle with burgundy and plummy looks. But this is a great way to do it. I have a quite yellow undertone so these colours often read bruised on me🤕. I’m definitely going to try this! I’m so sad, I have a coupon for 30% off on ALL Mac products but I have too many other expenses this month to buy a bunch of makeup 😢. I am so glad this inspired you to play with burgundy tones! I agree - I have a hard time as well with certain colors and I think finding the right undertones for your skintone can be such a game changer. That's why I love trying new color combinations and figuring out what I like and what I don't like. Don't feel the need to buy new makeup because there is a sale. There will always be another sale or another discount. Try and use what you already have, mix things together, and get creative! That is way more fun than buying something new :)

Alexa you should try the lip color plum dandy with the plum lip liner. Plum dandy is a frost color, check it out

Beautiful look!!! 💕I have a question. I have freckles and love them. However, concealer is a challenge. I want to invest in a good quality correcting palette. I’m okay spending a little bit to make sure I can use in a versatile manner, but I have very dry skin, I don’t like when it clings. The only concealer that works on my skin is Tower 28. You suggested a while ago, so I bought. I have bought many even Westman Atelier and the one was awful on my skin. Tower 28 has been the best, but I want something I can have all one and done to address other areas on my sling. Any suggestions on a correcting palette?

Hi there! Great question - I have freckles too and I find concealer usually covers them up, which is why I always add them back in. If you are looking for a concealer to spot correct/conceal so that your freckles aren't hidden, there are a bunch of options. It would depend on the finish you prefer (matte, radiant, satin) and coverage level (sheer, light, full). I think the Tower 28 concealer is actually a great one for freckles because it doesn't cover them, but if you are specifically looking for a concealer palette, I would recommend the MAC corrector palette or the Ben Nye cover wheel. Both have a more matte finish and medium to full coverage. You can use a smaller detail brush and pinpoint the areas where you want coverage without applying it on top of your freckles. Again, I think the Tower 28 concealer is a great option so don't feel the need to invest in another one. The MAC one is my #1 recommendation because of the shade variety and performance.
