I was raped by six men, misused and abused; I almost died that night. I became a lesbian, I was enslaved to masturbation, pornography, and I believe all that sparked from my childhood was molested by my stepfather and also a brother-in-law. My real father wasn't in my life because he partially disowned me. I have lived a very broken life since, with many questions and few answers, and the worst part is that I was silent about my pain...But the power of Jesus Christ shone through the darkness and set me free from the bonds of sin. He healed my brokenness and gave me hope. Hallelujah!

Your post actually has me crying 😭 Living alone now that my son's moved out, and have been away from God for a few years now, took it pretty hard after divorce in 2012... We were only 18 days short of our 26th anniversary when divorce was finalized. I STILL love the idiot, though he's COMPLETELY torn apart our home, our children's lives, my life, and my heart. He's an emotional manipulator, and because I still love him, I'm the fool hoping things would return as they were before the infidelity. I know I have no reason to be upset with God about it, but it just hurts like hell STILL... After 8 years of being divorced. Sooo...I appreciate ALLLL the prayers I can get right about now. 🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖🙏🏼

I pray that God would bring you peace and remove all anxiety and remind you that this is not your battle, the battle belongs to the Lord. I pray that you would remember to surrender this every time that you get worked up about it. I pray that God would surround you with people that would bring comfort to you and your family. And never forget that even though this battle isn’t yours, the best thing you can do is get down on your knees and intercede for your dad. Anointing with oil and have elders pray over him. Love on him and enjoy every moment with him that you are able to. Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding in all ways acknowledge him. Know that he is our healer and our provider and we ask that he will heal your father. I pray a hedge of protection over your dad and I also pray for restoration over his entire body. Yeah, this song (Fall Afresh) really grabbed me the first time I heard it - especially the lyric "Blow through the caverns of my soul, pour in me to overflow." I first heard it sung by Jonathan Clarke up at Catch the Fire Toronto, but it's a Jeremy Riddle song from his album "Furious" and the Bethel Music album "The Loft Sessions", both of which are pretty great.
