We turned heat on last night.. my husband bought some German cookies at Aldi. They taste like short bread. One side dip with chocolate with 🥥 coconut. Very good. Ingles has their maple 🍁 syrup on sale too.

Falon, get this, I had to turn my heat on (just to warm the place up) in August. It was that cold of a summer. Now September? Not one time yet. I'm guessing a couple days and we'll be at that time of year again. Wow and at Aldi, the decorations falling apart, that's something that happens so rarely here. I guess it depends Aldi to Aldi. A while ago they had little placards that said 2cts for laundry and they were so cute (worn-style, laundromat style) and I'm still sad about not getting it for our laundry space.

Maybe I'm biased because our Aldi is so nice, but last Saturday, they had their forklift parked in front of the big freezers, and a lady couldn't pass in her disability scooter, worker was like "you can't pass, ma'am, I will shift the forklift for you, hold on". So nice. And then another lady came right behind with her disability scooter. Aldi doesn't do these scooters from the store itself (that is not done in Belgium in any store), so these ladies owned their scooters. But I thought that is just to show you how nice these workers are, to everybody!

I saw in a magazine for green apple toast. Toast your bread spread peanut butter on top. And on top of that add thinly sliced green apples. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon. Kids might prefer cinnamon sugar. And it’s so good you feel like you’re having dessert for breakfast. Also you’ve inspired me to invent a pumpkin rice pudding. I’ll get on that.
