I love the white skirt. To me it looks very romantic and feminine. The juxtaposition of the romantic skirt and the over sized button down is really nice. I think you should add a wide belt to define your waist. The belt can be fabric and match the button down shirt. In the summer you can wear the button down shirt like a jacket and add a close fitting knit top. (yes, I was one of those little girls who loved to dress up dolls)😅

I really love your suggestion of adding the belt. I have been seeing rope belts or chain belts worn over button up shirts and loved the look. I’m going to give it a try and see how it comes together. I really appreciate your feedback and time. ❤

Sidenote: Mango had some great knee high boots. AND I am on a shirts spree as well, I just bought two oversized button-down shirts that were on sale. AND Yes, that gorgeous white lace skirt (which I am on the hunt for) really looks good with the oversized shirt. AND I liked both looks with white tee shirt/white skirt/brown skirt -- I just think it needed a pop of color with shoes. AND the medium works on the light blue shirt (nice shirt).
