I made it through it all and loved everything. Your new home is just beautiful. I love the large space and it's so open and doesn't restrict the flow of movement no how many there would be at a gathering. Beautifully done, all of it. Happy Holidays and have fun decorating. With the pumpkins I would dip my wet paint brush into some baking soda and brush it on then once dry go back over it with hust paint

I am really struggling with this, as I have read that you should not use the same color, but I like limited color in my home. What are your thoughts and this question is also for anyone in this KZbin community to offer a thoughts!!

Yes, I have same color for cabinets, walls and trim. I have always loved the consistent look but others may want to see a contrast. If having it painted by professional company they typically charge more for every new color of paint due to labor, something to keep in mind.
