I adore the cool crisp air. It's everything. I sleep better and feel 100% better. All the smells of the autumn season and watching nature change. I am a freak about hearing Canadian geese flying over head. I've been known to stop whatever I'm doing and run outside to watch them. I'm from Canada and are home sick in the fall the most. I absolutely adore fall.

I love fall but I don’t celebrate changing anything until like October 1. I drag my feet on this one. Hate that summer has left and it seems like forever before we get the warmth again. When you live where I do the seasons are very definite. I’m not ready to move snow yet but that sometimes happens in late October here. Mostly I hit my favorite nursery and pick up a combo planter in September with dark red grasses and kale and chrysanthemum placing near doorway. I have a huge wrought iron covered double door with rain glass and it’s very showy. Then I change out pillows, dining napkins, towels, sheets and add a few pumpkins. That says enough for me.

I am SO here for talk of Fall, precisely bc this summer has been blisteringly hot and miserable. It's actually unsafe to go outside! I really like your overarching theme of not being too kitschy, maintaining a feeling of luxury with texture/ambiance/colors and rotating through a few key objects that signal the change in seasons. With this enduring heat, the calendar and a change in home decor may be the only things indicating that Fall is here!

@@nancynelson179 and your response doesn't change the fact that if the subject matter doesn't interest you or offends you, then don't watch and let other people who enjoy the content watch. Why dictate what she can post on HER channel and what other people can consume? Start your own channel if you want to discuss the solstice and heat waves and fires, etc. In this moment.

@@mrscmeier9570 Stop the harassment towards my being in the level, as a long time subscriber I enjoy The House of Valentina you tube channel and you seem to be the blamer type who wants me to placate you instead of being honest about my feelings. All people are equal and unique. I am neither above nor beneath anyone. Peace be upon you. We are sweltering in excessive heat and fire danger on the other side of the country from where you might be. Valentina can post any vid she chooses and her loyal subscribers like me have free speech to express our gut instincts so why are you gaslighting someone’s opinion that differs from yours? Isn’t that a bit paranoid of you? STOP it.

@@nancynelson179 omg the lack of self awareness you have?!! You are welcome to your opinion and so am I. Don't post on a public forum if you don't want to hear opposing views. Or are only you allowed to post opposing views? You are the one trying to mandate what kind of content HOV should post and I am the one saying she she post whatever she wants. Read back what you wrote and try to follow your own advice. Have a great day ✌️

I’m sorry, but I can’t even think about Fall at this point. We’re only half way through Summer. It’s just too soon to talk about Fall.

I'm a fall/ winter person too, I tend to dress better in the colder seasons because I can layer!😊
