Wow Jody, that's amazing all the deer in your backyard. How do you get a dent out of your wood? Step 1: pour water on the dent. Step 2: Lay paper on the wet wood. Step 3: Steam the dent from the wood with an iron. The buffet turns out beautiful. And your decoration I love it.

We have 4 acres and I have deer quite a bite, as a matter a fact my kids call me the "Crazy Deer Lady" I have to admit I truly am. If I see them getting ready to cross the road I run to the end of my drive about 800 ft and yell run, We have a lot of cars that go fast. We've had a few get hit and it just upsets me so much. I just love the beauty of God's creations🦌🦌

Everything is just beautiful Jody!! I cannot get over how you do so much!! I painted my kitchen cabinets and walls and did a tile backsplash and a few other things recently. It took me 2 whole months and I am too tired and burned out now to do anything else!! Lol. You truly inspire me!! We are about the same age, so you need to tell me your secret for all of your energy!! I had to show my dad and my husband all of your bucks! the buffet is gorgeous... what a great job. My only preference would be less foliage around the tea set. It is so beautiful , would love to see it be the shining focal point. Most of it seems hidden .

@@jodyatsouthernseasons Hi Jody, yes I plan on showing a video as well. I'd like to get away with 4 coats, I mean that's quite a lot, but there is still a bit of gray poking through, so one more coat it is! Each coats takes 4 hours! I love the distressing you did, turned out beautifully!

Thank you Rebecca. The deer around here are used to humans. They are afraid of my dogs so I do make sure they are not in the backyard when I let my dogs out. The product I used is Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations. I thought the picture was saved when I edited it in my movie maker.

Jody u are so talent how beautiful u really nailed it I have learned from u when I have a bunch of favorite flowers or leaves I love certain prices on each I just cut them now like u and I get the look I what love the hutch

Hi Jody, I'm so pleased you did get the buffet that you mentioned ...seniors half off ? You did a fabulous job and I'm very proud for you! Hugs!!Look what you found to balance your hanging cupboard ...i got a bit choked up when you said your brother used the small mates chair! The dining room has a one of a kind atmosphere so warm and inviting... mum's tea set looks charming on the buffet very antiquey but of course it would be ever so shiny if I got my hands on it LOL! Please leave your buffet lamps every buffet needs a pair..its likejam with peanut butter ! Thanks for sharing the deters in your backyard I remember deer in your old backyard and your neighbour's yard but oh my gosh a gang of seven buckeroos at once what are the chances? Thank you Susan. I actually went back on Saturday since that was 50% day for all colored tags but the current one. It was my oldest brothers first and passed down to me and my older brother. I used to polish it but I love the patina on silver. I have another pair of lamps that I used on my previous buffet . I just haven't decided what lamps to use. Maybe they were attracted to the new color of the house, lol. I do like the new color. Have a great weekend my friend. Hugs!!
