They both died unexpectedly, just heartbreaking. When I saw you tear up with that song . Tears started flowing . My neighbor for last 15 years just got diagnosed with terminal cancer last week . After my son passed away 2 yrs ago then my husband 11 months after my son she looked out for me so much . Having her daughter bring me meals , making sure I was okay . My granddaughter (4 yrs old) would wait for her everyday when she would come home to go give her a hug and she would give her a treat💕. I have never heard the song till today . 😢💕. He always takes the good ones to soon 😭.

lol!! that ankle skipper was a toy from back in the 1960;s that we ALL WANTED !! BUT was'nt affordable!! SO My mom..MADE them for us , using a cut out of the inside a plastic container lid from maybe a bowl of cheap margerine spread.. then plastic clothesline.. for the ball..it originally was a bell /open shape..Sooo..my mom used a bell plastic shape with a metal jingle bell inside of it from of all things..a BABY TOY!! ot was a plastic strip w/ these plastic bells stapled to it..went over the crib or across the stroller maybe..so much for child safety as each bell had a small metal jingle bell in it!! I was so PROUD & other kids actually thought it was cool cuz THIS was such a wanted loved toy by all of us kids in the neighborhood!!! thanks for the reminder of a great memory!! best w reimaginging everything! these are some of my fav vids!!

This episode made me cry. Aug 22nd was the one year anniversary of my mothers passing. The same day we found out our boxer dog had cancer. My moms favorite Bible verse was “by his stripes we are healed”. I have stepped away from crafting and miss it but my heart and mind has been elsewhere. Fairy garden would have just been a scene for me too since I adore fairy things. The skipper, maybe grab that ball, remove the light, use the cardboard, get fairy lights in the ball, and made a little lamp? And the light inside can go to the fairy house too. 😊

My mom’s favorite hymn was Amazing grace. We (sisters, spouses and some of her grandchildren) sang it to her as she was taking her last breathes. I am now sitting here crying. I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing your parents is rough
