I got really into stereo gear as a kid around 12 years old in the early 90s, soon had a pretty quality surround sound system & have used rain CDs on repeat to sleep to for years. I’m 41 now and have continued to use ambient sleep music ever since. I’ve always had at least a 5.1 setup in the bedroom for 25 years which makes it so immersive and real sounding.
