I really love the theme of doing a fall colors week! This takes me back about 10 years ago when makeup was new and fun for me. Somewhere in the past few years, makeup has lost its luster, but I’m still here to get new ideas and check in and see what you’re doing. I like content where people use things they already have and love. I’ve reached a saturation point in my eyeshadow collection. I really can’t fathom wanting any more eyeshadow palettes, so I enjoy shopping my stash and rotating things out every few months. I just traded out my summer selection for things that are more on trend for fall. Plummy shades of eyeshadow and blushes that are more plum and less pink. Looking through my palettes, I am pulling out the ones with the deep olives, smokey purples and grays, taupes, gold and navy. Even though I have been favoring a less dramatic eye, I love using a tiny eyeshadow brush to smudge a little jewel tone of color along the lash line. Fall is my favorite time of the year! I live on a lake and after Labor Day, my town is quiet once more. The weather is glorious and the changing colors on the trees is magnificent.
