This week in the workroom we have celebrity stylist Chris Mannor showing us what's hot in Fall trends and a style guide for how we can get the look. The exploding fashion trend of the moment is as practical as it is pretty, one word: lace! It seems like everywhere we turn runways, red carpets and fashionistas are rocking falls freshest look. Lace is no longer just the go to for weddings and black tie events, but it has skyrocketed into a trend you will see on every Hollywood "it girl."
Stars like Zoe Saldana, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Lucy Hale (just to name a few) have been seen out and about in their favorite lace pieces, making a flirty yet classy statement. Zoe Saldana sports a lace look on the red carpet from Elie Saab's collection whereas Selena Gomez flaunts a stunning lace frock by Dolce and Gabana. Runways this season have been overflowing with lace from head to toe as if it was the wedding of the century. Even New York's Fashion Week declared lace to be a Fall essential that looks chic when paired with florals, knits and leather.
Chris suggests snagging styling tips from Stella McCartney's new collection that personifies elegance and of course our favorite look, LACE! For women who don't want a full-blown cocktail look, other options include accessories like lace jewelry or even a fun blouse. You can pair the lace blouse with another trend we love: leather look-alike hard wash denim. Our last tip is to add a punch of color with a bold clutch or handbag in fun colors like fuchsia. You too can rock the "latest in" trends using these style tips that will have your next fall look screaming glamorous.
