Good morning! I have a fabulous crafting adventure for you today! I will be sharing with you how to make this adorable fall Gnome Wreath! I had so much fun putting together all the details of this fall Gnome. He is perfect to hang on your wall or door. He is rather slim and might be a good fit for in between a storm door and your front door. Gnomes have been so popular lately and I can see why, this fall Gnome will win everyone over. Let me show you how to make this Fall Gnome Wreath DIY.

Dollar Tree ~ 1 tinsel witch hat, 1 3pkg foam balls, 5 stems of leaves, 1 stem wheat, 1 stem mini mum
Walmart ~ Burlap
Other ~ 1 nylon knee high

I just recently purchased more of the leaves that I used in this project (8/2022) The sku for the leaves are 313069 2204 For the burlap on the hat, use whatever frame you are using for the hat to measure out how much burlap you are going to need.

Did you purchase the leaves from the dollar tree site or in dollar tree? I have been too many dollar tress and the maple leaves on the stem are not the same as the site. SKU is different

@@cvisiko I just purchased them in store. If they don't show up online it is because they don't offer them online. You will have to look in store for them.

Finally got my hands on some of these with the exact SKU # and they changed the layout of the leaves 😔 not stacked like the original ones in your video ... more just fanned out and flat. Going to give them a try anyway.

I have been to all of the DT's in my area..no maple leaves like that. So I am making do. Hope mine turns out good!

this is just wonderful, I guess we could use pipe cleaners instead of floral wire since it will be hidden by the burlap hat

When I construct my wreaths I use fishing line because I find on the east coast in summer or when wreaths are in storage in off seasons and it gets hot....hot glue loosens. I rarely use glue mostly fishing line...if I use glue its either flex seal or loctite which I find is better than gorilla glue!!

This is absolutely brilliant! Of course my Dollar tree doesn't have any of those things so I'm going to be using cardboard for The gnome hat and beard underneath and I have some fall leaves that are not on stems but I think I can make it work!

I found a wire leaf form at Dollar tree and I used that as a base for the leaves to be on it turned out wonderful thank you so much again for posting such a wonderful video. I wish I could share a picture of what I've done

Dana - I was thinking of foam board instead, as it would be more weather proof than cardboard. Cardboard will absorb moisture & bugs/spiders.

Plus! In case she does not do this, I would spray burlap with a clear fabric sealant
