@azraelhorsefeather1507 it's just a piece of elastic 4x the width of the journal with a button slid into the middle of it then you tie the ends in a knot. The knotted part goes around the journal and loops onto the button. Super simple!

❤❤❤. These are wonderful. Love your dyed papers, what do you use? Love the barn one. We are coming into spring here in New Zealand. It has been very wet. Blessings lovely and I hope these lovely journals sell for you. From Colleen.😊 the pink fall one is stunning 🤩

@colleenandmark Thank you, Colleen! I use RIT dye and instant coffee to dye my papers and hang outside to dry to get a nice smooth effect on the paper. Where I live, we usually get a lot of rain, but this summer has been so brutally dry that our yard is now just dirt. Never seen it like this before! I usually complain about all the rain making our yard a flooded swamp. Never will I complain again.

Oh my goodness! Those are gorgeous 😍 journals! Yes, where did you get all those gorgeous tassels to match the journals? What did you use to dye your papers?? Love them all especially the witchy one since I'm a witch. 😁

@@mariannaosinski4297 thank you! I have been collecting a variety of yarns everywhere I can: thrift store, various craft stores, and amazon. This variety allows me to make tassels that match pretty well. The dye I use is RIT dye and instant coffee.

I love all the journals, and the tassels! What do you dye your papers with to get the gorgeous orange, and purple colours? The gnome journal was quite lovely. I like gnomes! Thanks for sharing your work with us! ~Janet in Canada

@theserendipitouscrafter3532 Thank you! I have been collecting yarn for about 3 years now, ever since I discovered junk journals. I've gotten them from thrift stores, various craft stores and amazon.

@virginiamartin-authorspeaker Thank you! I used 28 lb copy paper and 90 lb cardstock for the cover pieces, pockets and ephemera. I have an Epson EcoTank 4850.

@QueenNoTeetha151 I just looked up canvas drop cloth on amazon and bought one from there. Then wash it and I can dye it to desire or leave as is for a pretty cream color.
