*Book Boxes* . I love the book boxes, so versatile for storage or as a riser. I forget about HL for their colored tapers, I need some olive green ones. I love your plan for Fall decorating. I didn't use a single pumpkin last year, it was all about the colors and textiles. I use the Pursuestar 6pc Bendable Dry Willow stems from Amazon in arrangements year round, they add movement and whimsy.

I like your book boxes and it’s crazy the asking prices for vintage books. I decorate in all vintage, antiques and the most I ever paid was $8 and that was for a book written in 1885. To sell the look of vintage I would try to add some darkness to the book pages to mimic the color of vintage book pages.

I actually painted a picture similiar to your pumpkin pic.I have a lot of real books........I like to place them around sometimes.I love buying pillow covers and so easy to store.The blanket from Amazon is gorgeous!

It don't make sense what you described as expensive old/vintage books...at thrift stores I've brought home several...I like using those old books as risers. That book box you showed IS SO EXPENSIVE at Hobby Lobby all those stores $15.00/19.00 too high when you can thrift almost exactly the same for about $2/3.00 I like the shades you always seem to use in your home decor. My favorite season...fall, next is winter, spring and LAST summer too HOT in (yuk) n So California....God bless byeeeeeee for now

I've not had luck thrifting Antique books at places like goodwill. I've only found them at a few antique stores and they're always above $20 not sure why. The book boxes are expensive regular price which is why I wait fot the 50% off! I have found a few antique books at yardsales but haven't been in a while!
