I cowboy coffee when camping, tastes great and it works for my little container system. Green mountain coffee at home, whatever when I’m away.

Hey! I am doing well thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I love this location too. I only have a few short weeks to record there every year before heavy snow makes it inaccessible. I always look forward to it! Yes, I have upgraded my sleep system and I'm loving it! Quilts are my new favorite over sleeping bags. Glad you enjoyed the cooking! Thank you for watching!

To protect the inside of the tent from the rain you should have dug a ditch around it and find a bit sloping place.

Thats is an old boy scouts method I learned in the 1960’s yet never adopted. Trenching absolutely ruins the forest floor. Just fid a tent spot with good drainage instead.

Digging trenches goes against leave no trace principles, please don’t do this or encourage others. It’s a technique used for military applications where digging a trench is one of the least impactful things the military can do to an environment.

Great to see you back, you can't beat the smell of freshly cut wood and the smell of burning wood! I used to chop wood for my elderly neighbour years ago, loved it. it always makes my mouth water when you are cooking lol. As always the scenery is absolutely breath taking. I often say to my friends if i had to leave the UK I would come live there, thank you so much for sharing 😊♥

Great video and tent set up! Are all the bears in that area hibernating at this point? I'd be worried about storing food and cooking in my tent. Would definitely not do that here in Montana unless it was full on Winter, December to February.

Good video. I would fished before the fire. I like the calm of fishing. That was a mighty meal layout. Maybe a ditch around the tent perimeter would have helped the inside floor? small wood log for a pan seat & eat? You had an awesome trip mate. With all that stone, you could build a stone and timber shelter. With an elevated floor lol.

I don’t know, where this is. It could be in the Lemhis or lower Sawtooth region in Idaho. Brings back great memories in a cheap little 3-sided pub tent with balanced rocks for maneuvering a frying pan across. Great video, thank you. ❤ from Oregon 🇺🇸!

When we were young, we were taught to build a tent on a raised plane so that water would not flow into it! This gentleman must have been absent when this was taught. That's why his tent is wet today. :) I like nature, and it's nice there by the lake... but to go through this for one night?!? Probably not.
