Man Ive been skunked in the park all year. Just went out again this past weekend with no luck. Using Spinners, spoons, and flicker minnow. I recently saw that we can use worms to catch trout in the park. Do you think that would be a better strategy to catch them? Also Ive only been going to lakes that are marked with BT and LT on the algonquin map and jeffs map. Do the lakes that are not marked BTLT could possibly have BT and LT? I am planning to hit the rivers during ice out this spring to get some more luck. But am thinking of going to very hard to reach lakes / dead-end lakes to hopefully get some trout. Any help would be appreciated!

Damn boys, awesome haul. I’ve been on the hunt for some Algonquin brookies for quite some time now and have definitely been doing something wrong; skunked every time. How far into the park do you guys travel to get to some decent trout holding waters?
