Things to do in KYOTO, JAPAN | ARASHIYAMA Bamboo Forest, Wild Monkeys & the best Coffee
This is day 3 in Kyoto, Japan. We decided to make our way to Arashiyama to visit the Bamboo Forest and to see the Wild Monkeys at Iwatayama Monkey Park. On our way there we stumbled across the best coffee shop in Japan, % ARABICA. This is definitely something you need to add to your Itinerary when visiting Kyoto, Japan.

The building along a river you saw from the view point from the top of the hill is a hig-end hotel called " Hoshinoya Resort" . Hotel guests take a boat from the dock nearby the Togetsu bridge.

Does Kyoto scenery look good in late January? Are places like Sannenzaka and Arashiyama Bamboo Grove - dull or vibrant during last week of January?
