Welcome back to part 2 of this year's fall knot along! I'm so excited to dive into more of the meat of this pattern and see how it comes to life and I hope you are too!

My longest hobby in my life is probably candle making wich I do since I was 5 or it could be baking but with baking I only did it with my mom for a long time and helped her. Of course when I made candles as a little kid I was never alone but I always felt more independent when I did it.

I leave my craft stuff ALL OVER the house too (and half completed 😅). My husband jokes that he could probably open the pantry and find craft supplies in there 😂. Longest running hobby....soooo many! I have a picture of me with a homemade diorama with a cardboard house and truck and I glued rocks down for the road. Also made a toilet paper tube palm tree. In elementary school I remember learning friendship bracelets, polymer clay, crochet and knitting, sewing (cuz my barbies needed clothes) and then I started scrapbooking, painting and I really got into painting my nails all sorts of fun colors and designs. After high-school I got a bit into beading (bracelets, necklaces and I had a loom), photography, web design (my husband taught me a lot), making tiny things (mainly with popsicle sticks), sewing began expanding into making quilts and clothes for myself (which I still do now. It's crazy to see how far I've come with that). I even got into leatherworking like 7-8 years back for 3-4 years. Just recently made a fancy belt again. Then there were the "hobbies" I learned because we owned a house 😅 We joke and say we could probably build one from scratch.

I recently found your channel and you do fabulous work! Ive been knotting since I was about 15, I'm now 32! I always just stuck to simple bracelets, or creations of my own. I recently discovered Alphas and I am OBSESSED! I just need a little more practice but I'm almost there! I used to do KZbin back in the day, so if I ever succeed well at this craft, I may too try to do a knot w me video

I'm using a light coral variegated thread for the background, a light yellow for the base strings, and some brighter greens. :)

My longest running hobby is probably reading, even though there were periods of my life when I went without reading a book for some weeks; I’ve allegedly been reading virtually my whole life. Most of the other hobbies I’ve tried are kinda short-lived, including bracelet making-until the pandemic brought me back to it. 😂

Haha! I didn’t even think of reading! 😂 that’s definitely up there for me too!

I started making bracelets when I was 7 and I'm 37 now, so 30 years! Doesn't seem like it's been that long, but it does make me feel very old lol! I've been getting into bead work and macrame lately too! I watch a channel called Beadiful Nights and I've learned a lot from her!

Furbies were the shiiiiiit I wanted to have them all so badly hahaha I really wanna see Stevie nicks live but I doubt she's ever gonna come here lol Joan Jett would've been awesome to see. I go see florence and the machine almost every time she's here. I had no idea jojo still had a career xDD I only remember that one song of hers that was everywhere like 15 years ago

Stevie would be so cool! Joan Jett’s volume levels were just… low? It was really odd. Good music but not rock concert levels. And apparently Jojo was stuck in a battle with her label and only just started making music again after managing to get out of the old contract.

@@MegMakesCrafts what, how do you have low volume at a rock concert, that makes no sense hahahaha ohhh I see. Good for her!

How's the hat coming that you were working on in the live stream? Yea we hop from many topics in the live. It was fun. We were talking about feet to earrings to books etc.
