Yards looking Good Pete I'll be coming to see you in the spring.. just bought a new house and renovating the yard it's going to be a Bermuda yard.. right now it is a salad bar. And a lot of Dallas grass.. some common Bermuda here and there..

I live in Massachusetts.. I did a lawn reno and put seed down on 9/19. I put down GCI cool blue. 6 weeks post seeding, it looks great! Still a long way to go. I have some spots that washed out. Should I wait till spring to fill in those spots or just put some seed down and let it be?

Wish i could send you some pics of my yard. Done a full renovation with gci ttf. One side turned out great. the front yard got washed out so i re seeded. Still thin. I’ve over seeded 3 times and it’s still thin. Not sure what went wrong. Thanks for all your info

Pete, how many pounds per thousand ft do you recommend? Do the 30-0-0 require immediate watered in? Will it harm new growth and/or newly seeded renovated yard?

Hi Pete my blue heat is looking amazing right now I'm in long Island temps have been mild I'm still watering And it's still growing I've been hitting it with urea once a week with small dose when should I throw down the protene winter fertilizer and should I just keep cutting and watering untill it stops growing ??

Man Pete!!! I sent my Turf south this year. I allowed a grass called Midnight to rob me this year. (I used it instead of my normal GCI) I knew that I should've continued with GCI!!! I removed all of my tree's, yet my yard looks the works ever after a fall reseed, aeration and fertilizer. (The seed is taking so long to take. All over.) Heart broken, brother...

Is this for cool season turf only?

@@peterjebeles4563 any NPK fertilizer on the market is fine to apply to any turf type as long as the NPK rates are applied correctly at the right time of the year. Yes sir this is fine for warm season turf but use it in the summer when warm season turf requires N

I'm in Massachusetts as well. I just did a lawn reno myself. Used GCI cool blue. I'm 6 weeks post seeding, lawn looks great, some thin spots and a few wash outs which I have to fix. I'll be looking into this fert come spring time

Pete, so for a winter fertilizer, we dont need a fertilizer with some Potassium in it? I noticed that the 30-0-0 has none. Is this just as good as having a fertilizer with sime Potassium?

Hey Pete, when applying 30-0-0, will it harm, burn or hurt new growth grass that haven't full matured? I have grass that is fully germinated and have been cut a few time already but do to some washout, some areas are beginning to fill in but hasn't been fully established.

the biggest "offense" in Pennsylvania is guys not blowing off hard surfaces. I believe the extension said that 75% of calls that came in for pesticide applicators is due to not blowing hard surface and someone calls in.
