*correction: apparently in my pdf version of RotK it says "dung of worth", while it should say "thing of worth". apologies for that (we'll return to this subject eventually, where I'll correct it).

@@CounciloftheRings Yes. Google's predictive text does that to me far too often 😞 That said, "dung" is a pretty funny prediction.💩😂

Yeah it really would! Lots of cool characters and still room for the minor ones doing more, like Fíriel. We never learn what happens to her.

Jackson and Serkis et al are doing "The Hunt For Gollum", so that shouldn't be TOO bad, at the very least. Anyway, in time, like the complete overthrow of Sauron, eventually the wicked destroying OUR World, you know the REAL LIFE World, will be overthrown too, and it will herald in a Golden Age of authentic restoration and new, wholesome compositions in ALL things, Tolkien lore included. Please God 🙏🙏

Excellent work! The Appendices and the Battle For Middle Earth Angmar expansion pack drew me into this period, and this short series does a wonderful job of putting it all into context. The tragedy of Arnor's disunity and indecision combined with the traitorous hillmen and creepy, undead sorcery of Angmar is so compelling and fires up the imagination.

Thank you! Yes I totally agree! As a child, when I first dived into the deeper lore it was the story of Arnor, Angmar and Gondor that sucked me into the world of Middle-earth! Thanks for commenting 🙏❤️

Elder scrolls isn't even a patch on Tolkien. It's very hollow, insubstantial contrived garbage compared to this.

Is it possible that Celebrimbor forged the Ring of Barahir when he was living in Nargothrond?🤔

Possible, but unlikely I think

@@CounciloftheRings I suppose not, the more I think about it, unless Celebrimbor made the Ring of Barahir for Finrod in Valinor. Celebrimbor chose to live in Nargothrond and Finrod allowed hi also, Celebrimbor chose to stay in Nargothrond rather than follow his father and Celegorn. So something seems special in that relationship.
