Tempest nerf was impactful. Wizard nerf, not so much. I feel like wizards got more powerful from the last update. The nerf to scorch is negligable 😂. It is still working as intended. Try using frozen wellspring instead of arcane wind for insta freeze. Because of the buff to the frozen wellspring, damage happens instantly.

I am using arcane wind to create a firestorm using Roiling + gather players on idol to provide support for team. But will give it a go soon.

@@ApollyonGaming that old arcane wind got a butt, baseline 2 charges on 6s and a very big area, but people can still 'walk thru' it, in a way. It's still good in pve at least (dgs, or pve vaults), but it seems the other one might be better, or try another skill instead, because with the freezing chest pretty much ANY attack can trigger freeze, and since it seems they don't 'stack', you could even use a (semi)passive hard hitter like disintegrate pet (shoulder) and/or bombard arcane torrent (MH). PvP, focus on primary attacks of any kind, specially with essences buffing, you either have to input some kind of 2+ CC, be it soft, like knockbacks or hard like total loss ones. Passive skills can still hit even when/if you got into CC. On that build of yours you could try swapping AW with torrent, keeping that teleport with CC imunity but you'd definitely need to stay closer to objectives at least, and confirm kills near them. And/or, invisibility with teleport on helmet too at least, or use black hole with that +28.5% damage on helmet. Black hole is an awkaward kind of CC that pretty much there isn't a way of escaping, an improved skill of that Arcane Wind, since people caught in it will be ~6s 'incapacitated', while AW, they get flashes of times that they can just dash out, for example.

Sorry but Barbarian never went anywhere. 70% of pvp whales play barb. Any class that gets taken to 1 HP, then becomes invulnerable and then gets 80% of their life back is gonna stay at the top.

I thought the tempest nerf was mild reading the notes... but I can't explain why it hits pretty hard. Survivability went way down. Barb have become super strong! But really... what's going on with that wizard freeze? Thinking about going back to wiz, they might be the new meta. For now, I think Barb is no1, wiz no2, dh no3, omg wth tempest in no 4?

This is the fact that is going on lately in the game: people start blaming nerf on their favorite class. I have been playing wiz since it was still bad class till now. The moment tempest was released, ppl started jumping on that class and started farming ppl in BG. When number of kill going down just because they are bad, they blame nerf. Let me be honest here, playing tempest,.. is way easier than wiz. They have crazy shield, loss of control resistance, rage,… so they can easily make mistakes without paying the price. Dude have 6 dash in total and still die, now that dash just have some cooldown, still lol. There no need to discuss the class that when you jump in and press all the buttons randomly at the same time on which are available and have a kill (bet 99% ppl do that). I think the cooldown is just for reminder that you are not able to make MORE mistakes. About wiz, they are not strong. When ppls are enjoying their op class, wiz player had to research and came up with a built that works even though getting slaughtered like roaches in BG, and then when they find a decent working build “oh, buff, so OP”. I was playing this wiz when tempest was many in BG and ppl told me to change class lol. There is no way its a buff or nerf can be saying in a single patch note lol. This game design frame is easier to assassinate ppls than keeping position. p/s: as wiz, no mistakes should be made, one yard mistakes. u evaporate😂. It is not dota 2 or league of legendss when u are said that “how about kiting melee player.

The range of the grab attack of barbs should be nerf

Barbs should remain punching bags like the past 1 year plus. Else BG kills rates be lowered compared to now. DH always OP and never weak. Tempest still STRONG. what nerf??? Wizard and Necro still the most irritating class overall.
