I’m sure neighbors are “thankful” for you and your husband with the love and care you put into this jewel of a house! I adore every inch of it ! LOL!!! I truly do. I never knew about the cleaning and protecting of the pumpkins. Everyone is saying how expensive the pumpkins are, especially the white! They were sort of a “new look” back 25 years ago. Hi Jayne! Thank you!! We are very thankful too that our immediate neighbors care for their homes as well... Some say that the vinegar doesn't help, but my pumpkins lasted through November last year doing it - so it doesn't hurt I guess! I've always gotten white pumpkins, so I was so surprised to see how expensive and scarce they were this year!! Happy fall!

Love the staging on the steps. The colors and urns are wonderful. I especially love the trailing burgundy vine with the kale . And although I think the white looks nice on the porch floor.... I can only imagine what all the footprints will look like throughout the winter.

I have the same black urns from Home Depot but I got the large ones but had to fill them with River rocks, luckily we had extra bags from using them on our front yard, to be able to hold the mums up above the urn.

@@oldmaplehome they are statuesque. But keep in mind you need a filler. Rocks are the best cause it’s ideal for drainage and it weighs down the urns in case you have little thrives in your area. We live in a good neighborhood but some reason at one point there was this lady in a white van stealing everyone’s flowers and pots. It’s crazy.
