My grandfather lived in Fall River from 1927-2016. His father worked the the boat the Priscilla for the Fall River line. He died June of 2020 in Florida and was buried at Notre Dame cemetery. He loved this city.

You did such a great job explaining things/sites in Fall River. I was born there in 1954 but moved out 4 years later, so I remember some sites, but not all Thank you very much, Debbie

We left Fall River when I was seven years old, in 1962. I can’t believe how stupid the city planners were in demolishing those beautiful landmark buildings. I am afraid to visit the place now, with my grown children and wife.

Fall River was a rich glorious city ! Too bad so much of it was destroyed by obliviousness to history and stupidity ! , like turning the historical landmarks of the central city into a vulgar road to Cape Cod ! - I grew up in Swansea

What a shame the city has become. Had to leave way to much violence and drugs. A once great city full of middle class factory workers trying to make their dreams come true in a new country. Now a cesspool where other cities and towns dump their section 8. Lived off Pleasant St. And North Main.
