One Tip- Since having to loot more in towns in order to get the Mechanical and Electrical Parts, I have started to go over and re-loot the towns I have been to already, I have all the tech and my map looks very much like yours, but if you spend 10 days working on your base, all the towns loot will have respawned and I simply change the colour of the markers on towns I visit the 2nd time around. The only problem with having a bigger Town with a lot more loot, would be that it becomes a one stop shop, So you would only go out once every ten days just to fill up, The Dev seems to have the balance right and at first I was against the changes where you cannot make some elements, but now I have played a Game where I decided to only ;loot the Vambies that attacked me and make all the resources myself it kind of makes sense.

The plants are just small and are in pots different every time you make them the other tech you did not get was for hanging pots, purely decorative. I would love to have more things that you can build like you wanted trees I suggested maybe adding a plantation building that has a special plant that grows there and a way to make something from the plant like grapes and wine or coffee plants and cans of coffee, or avocados and cooking oil and have those spread over the map so you want to go there and get the items to use or sell, the dev did add coffee and tea what a great dev

You should put some lighting in the vegetable storage building and NPC building and Garage and some exterior lighting too so you don’t need to use the headlamp. You should also label the truck’s storage boxes

I believe a while back the dev made it that you could transport workbenches on the truck. It comes in handy for hunting and also if you are moving bases. Not a 100% sure I am remembering right. The one thing I don't like is having to go through so many plants and pictures to get the ones you want. I know it doesn't cost much but it just bugs me lol Great episode.

GE, you can craft tea & coffee cans without a bench. If you are out and about looting and at the trader, you can craft those you found on the spot for a quick 3 bucks each

Definitely should open up to modding, but you don't want to do that until the game's in a finalized form. Knowing how to mod doesn't mean one knows how game design works, so sometimes you get all kinds of screaming and quitting from modders trying to mod a game that is labelled as and intentionally changing rapidly. Strong modding communities definitely give a game reputation and longetivity though, so, the dev should definitely open it up to it once the game's out of early access and updates aren't needed as frequently.

There are multiple different plants in each type. Last I used them - the plant is randomized so you get to make a bunch :))

Ya, and I think they need to work a little on the scale of the furniture too. I crafted 2 leather chairs and they're HUGE! They seem off scale to me.

And I'm hoping one day he makes the areas specific animals. Like deer in the forest. Wolves in the arid lands and desert. Gators are already in the swamps. The hides should also be different. Wolf pelts, deer and bear hides, all selling differently at the trader or used differently for different furniture.

Is it possible that animal spawns trigger more often while moving and loading in new areas? Because there seem to be plenty of animals when you're going places, and fewer showing up when you're just staying around the base working on stuff.

The edition of this truck is the best thing, smacking the baddies so casually as you're cruising down the road elevates this game. The town interiors are so repetitive and disappointing, but the base buids are superior.

you can hit space bar and hop out and there was a dirt road up to the tent area the plants are house plants but each one like ground and hanging have different plants you can get

When you stop the truck for a second to just loot an enemy or whatever you can just hit spacebar for the handbrake and get out really quick with the truck running. Might be a little less annoying for you. Love the game and hope you and yours are doing well!!
