I love your style buddy.. I’ve been watching your vids for about 1 1/2yrs and love to see your progression.. I caught my first steelhead twitching jigs on the rogue here in Oregon yesterday.. So stoked🙏🏼

Mystik Mayhem - thank you, it’s so much easier to just go and fish and not worry about all the b-roll and editing sometimes. I’m looking forward to getting back out after the weekend. Congrats on the steelhead with a twitching jig! I’m sure that was a nice surprise. Hopefully I can get out there for some winter steelhead fishing this season. Thanks for the support, it’s greatly appreciated

I'm new to the channel in case you already explained all of this. Are those salmon on their way up to spawn? Are you not allowed to keep them? How far from the mouth of the river are you? What are you catching them on? The salmon in the stream near me have traveled already a long distance and they are ragged and near to their end. Must be a very different scene up there. Always appreciate your videos and commentary and your knowledge.

Fishyy - I know there are still native chinook around but most will be dark and spawning. There are a few new arrivers but as for coho, I haven’t heard of much being caught, I also haven’t fished it for a while myself though, so there could be some coho around still, getting late though

@@Zak_zookie I just haven’t seen or heard much about coho catches, and we are getting late in the season for the Sandy. Plenty of chinook around but I’ve been wanting to find something I can keep. Unfortunately that means a much longer drive with no guarantees. I could be wrong and all of a sudden coho start getting caught again 🤷♂️ Still worth throwing some casts, fine tuning techniques, and potentially getting a fish

What river? You don't have to say what spot your in. BUT WHAT RIVER?
@AnglingAddictsPNW4 жыл бұрын
Tim Coleman - I totally agree and that’s basically why I don’t say anymore.. plus nobody told me about any of the areas that I fish, I just got out and explored and looked for good waters and waited for the right times to be fishing them. I took down a popular vid that gave away way too much and sure it had a negative impact considering how small the area was. I’d rather lose the views than be part of destroying an area.. word travels fast, perfectly said.... everyone knows a guy who knows a guy lol
