The long awaited, Fall to the Clouds. I worked over the course of a month or two on this but in reality was a project that actively took place over about a week. This is, in my opinion, a massive track. With LilyCloud's vocals, it felt absolutely complete. This song does have its background message that only people close enough to me will understand. In a metaphorical sense, a friend had left me, carried on. No, they did not die. They moved onto greater things, yet I am saddened. But anyhow, have this new track! (Ya figure I can be a total weirdo and then go into deep meaning somehow).
This is the first original mix I've done in Ableton, my remix of iPon-3 being the other Ableton project. I will still be using GarageBand, yes, but I will mainly be using Ableton now. The piano is actually just a piano from Ableton but I'm working on getting Kontakt piano libraries and such but you know, money. I FOUND SOME FREE ONES THO MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA. And it almost sounds like I used Nexus, but I didn't.

Story time: It has been over a year since I last listened to any brony music, a good 4 years since I was in the fandom. Literally over this last evening I went through a complete nostalgia trip remembering everything that used to be a part of me and why i resonated and connected to this community. I officially spent 30 minutes to an hour trying to find this song as the final key to my unlockable door. Thank god i remembered! This song brings back so many memories from a time where I was carefree and blissfully unaware of the world around me. And quite frankly vylet if you do read this, it makes me really happy to hear such an amazing song once more. I love the vocals on this. The female is confident and has a professional tinge to her voice, while the male is very natural and has good definition and enunciation. The melody is clear and concise, with both light and heavier backing on the vocals and a strong, respectable bridge. Plus, the mix is well done, allowing all the separate tracks to blend while still being pleasurably distinct. All in all, a great piece of music.
