I think you should totally do the curtain bangs, it’ll look great with your hair texture, the only thing is you would have to style it. Also, don’t think you should go lighter. The brown looks great on you especially with fall jewel tones. Like the greens and burgundy’s and camels. If anything, I think you should go a dark richer chocolatey brown shade for fall/winter

Spokehaus would be close, I would go there when I lived in Liberty Village, it was about a 15-20 minute walk and even closer when I lived in City Center, about 5 minutes.
