I like your relaxed easy going laid back style. As for the big fish, could they have been relating to the shallow breaks and flats? Seems the pattern was the humps held small to medium fish. So where else to look for bigger fish but shallow? Unless they went super deep and you didn't want to chase them down there. You might have checked shallow in the video but you don't mention it nor show any graph shots less than 15 feet. Just brain storming, trying to think of options.

Catch with small baits, and this year we have a boom in large tires (all polls put 5-6 inch tires) and are waiting for trophies: ) ..it would be interesting to see your entire arsenal of baits. Good luck.

Hey dude love that lake I grew up and fished that lake my whole life. Do you ever go in the prairie classic. I’ve been working very hard this year to become a better fisherman learning how to fish different lures getting the proper rods for the different lures ect. Been out on the boat 35 times so far this year and thanks to some of your videos I am definitely a better fisherman today than I was at the beginning of the year. Anyway my dream is to become a tournament fisherman but it’s very intimidating any advice.
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
I haven't fished the classic since I was like 18 years old. Tournament fishing is a little over rated to be honest, but there is nothing wrong with joining a tournament even when you are newer to fishing just for the experience. You almost always have to fail before you can succeed :)
