I have a number of thin tees to wear under wool sweaters. I prefer beige or pale pink under light colored sweaters - no show through. V-necks, scoop necks, crew necks, and turtlenecks so I can change the tee to go with the neckline of the sweater.

I grew up in Ithaca. It's a beautiful place to be in autumn. If you have time visit Taughannock Falls, a short drive from Ithaca. It's such an amazing spot. I spent many days there and at Buttermilk Falls. Of course Cornell University is another great place to see. I hope you enjoy your time there!

Do you ever wear turtlenecks? I live in cold, snowy and windy Michigan two miles from Lake Michigan. I wear cotton turtlenecks to keep my neck from being freezing cold. I'm in and out of the cold all day long walking my rescue dog. Would you ever consider making a series of outfits using turtlenecks? I know hoodies are in now but I don't really like them nor do I look the dickie. I have a short neck and when I wear clothing around my neck it makes my neck look ever shorter and feels "choaking" to me. My first layer is typically long underwear with a Zip T top so I do have a bit of something "thin" around my neck to stay warm without being too bulky.

Yes!! I wore a new crew neck sweater Sunday and my neck started itching right away. I couldn’t change out of it as we went to church, then lunch and had to make a few stops. By the time I took it off I had a ring of welts and my neck was on fire!

I've been shopping a Quince right from the start. It is good quality for the money - although don't expect the quality to be as good as Scottish cashmere. The only thing that bothers me is how much they have expanded their product line - pants, purses, suitcases, Christmas trees(!!) - why? I do think their washable silk products are excellent.

I think I’m confused about high and low contrast. It seemed to me that the white t-shirt and the black pant, hoodie insert, and dark navy blazer are high contrast. Along with the beige sweater and purse on the all black outfit. What am I not getting??

No, you got it right. Only one of my outfits here was completely low contrast. But like I said, the outfit with the white shirt was low contrast other than the shirt. And I’ve discovered that I can wear a white shirt with my outfit and still get the desired results. So the point was not to keep your outfits low contrast, but to consider contrast in intensity and do what works best for you. Sorry for the confusion.

You don’t have to keep the contrast low in your entire outfit to get the desired results. I suggest just keeping the contrast low in the rest of your outfit (like I did in mine here today) but don’t be afraid to add that lighter top. So keep contrast low between your pants, belt, shoes and jacket.

Website suggests no petite, which is a shame. I like the look of the brand otherwise. I'm in UK and have only heard of Quince through Kay. Maybe she could persuade them about petite?! They already seem to do plus sizes.

They do offer different inseam lengths in most of their jeans and pants. They are a fairly new brand and, from my source at Quince, they are slowly working towards more sizing options and shipping internationally. I am gifted a few pieces when a video is sponsored and I purchase (or have already purchased) the others. Everything I showed in this video is in my personal wardrobe. You’ll see me wear them again if you follow my blog or social channels. 🥰

I dont understand why anyone but stick people would wear puffer jackets. Barbour does very warm quilted jackets that are slimming and not bulky and very well tailored and finished. Generally I find British clothes of higher quality than what I see in America.

I go by the temperature rating. Thin jackets usually are only suitable for above-freezing temps. I need one that's rated for at least 20 below zero. That means very puffy, indeed.
