also, you failed to mention its extremely fast. its faster than when you are mounted. the only way to catch up to it if you're not perched up in a eagle's nest with goblin glider, is shardhide whistle. shardhide whistle toy is MANDATORY for this mount, as it catches up to the running fallen charger

So i'm chillin in the Maw and this rare runs right by me! Of course I fat fingered and it just blazed by me! The mobs dazed me and bro was out! I used some of the tips in your video. First time I was going to camp the two paths and bro was just too fast! Second time I just camped the opposite of the path he took last and there he was! going a 100 mph! I'm only lvl 60 with shitty gear, so ain't gunna lie bro was slappin me like Bradly after awhile a 70 Pally killed me and the rare. Thank god he ganked me! I was about to die anyway so I ran back and I got the mount!! Thanks for the vid.

i sat 7 hours in perdition's hold at its spawn when the necrolord assault was up. i tagged it somehow after 3 blinks and killed it. there was no zonewide chat announcement. it seems it does not happen instantly when it spawns. i got the mount luckily enough

don't farm if you don't like disappointment...i've killed it over 25x across 4 characters for no drop and have well over 100hrs invested into camping waiting for it...this mount is an absolute joke

Great Video and nice explanation! Any Idea why it could be that my lvl 70 alt (boosted char) doesn't see the Emote Message "An earsplitting whinny echoes ..."? I've been camping the rare for atleast 5-6 hours per day or days now. People noticed the emote message in chat, but i couldn't see it (everything checked in chat settings, so shouldn't be a problem). After that i did all skips available in oribos and unlocked 3/9 chapters of chains of domination questchain so that i have covenant assaults unlocked in the maw, but that didn't seem to fix it. On my main (obviously all chapters unlocked) i can see the emote + kill the rare. I've done that for 5 days straight and had to wait ~2 hours per day until it spawned. Is there any prerequisite i am missing for my alt? It seems like i can't even see the rare (besides not getting the emote itself).

Update: I just saw the emote and killed the rare. Still don't know if unlocking the covenant assaults was the fix for it.
