if i'm being honest, one thing that i really don't like about this series is that no one ever got saved, the survivors either do nothing, get corrupted or get murdered

They do have a place in the storyline which I can't tell you everything but it's too drag bf to insanity. With the amount of people he keeps seeing dieing in front of him, he's getting insane, thinking it's his fault and that he has some type of curse which is why he tries to stay alone cause every time he finds someone he gets them killed and that messes him up. The darkness is using this cause it knows he has something protecting him so he just makes him easier to capture by messing with his mind and making him weaker.

Your the type of dude that just want anybody to be alive don't you? Sometimes being murdered or corrupted is necessary for a storyline, but i have to say.....I can't not remember *one infected* being save by a survivor, so idk if that's going to happen.
