Currently Atalanta sometimes remind of Parma. What I really wish for is that Serie A finds a way to boost revenues as a league, the major teams such as Inter, Milan and Juve seem to be lagging behind major teams in Europe like City, Bayern and Real Madrid. Other teams like Atalanta, Roma, Bologna, Lazio, Napoli and Fiorentina also have so much potential.

The biggest problem with Serie A is that whatever money DID arrive that aided its "Silver Age" in the 1990s was revealed to be FRAUDULENT. As the scandals involving Parma and especially the match-fixing scandals a couple of years later that led to Juventus' relegation in 2006 and a couple of their titles getting immediately struck-off and stripped from the history books demonstrated in the most public and spectacular fashion feasible.

I was doing that 30 years ago playing championship manager serie A both 94 and 95, loved that game but always crashed after 30 seasons I won the league 30 times, the European cup 22 times, the Italian cup 24 times, done the treble 19 times, built a 90k stadium and by the time the game crashed i had over 2 billion in transfer funds but despite my success i still couldn’t attract the best players from the top teams like AC Milan, Inter, Juventus even though some had been relegated 3 times over the years lol loved that game!

As a Rangers fan we knocked Parma out of CL qualifying to reach the group stages when they had players Buffon, Dino Baggio,Canavaro, Juan Sebastian Veron, Ortega, Di Viao and Crsepo. Ine of the best sides i have seen as we played them in the UEFA cup a few yeras before.

@@geezenation you're a legend, if you need help with source materials pls. don't hesitate, i can provide you with some help and context because the situation there is a whole mess - we have now FC FCSB (run by the millionaire madman and clown Gigi Becali) which officially and judicially is not Steaua Bucharest although the majority of fans, journalists still perceive it as being the true Steaua and we have a second division club actually called Steaua Bucharest who is run awfully by a bunch of corrupt generals since the club now belongs again to the Army (just like in the "good old days" of Ceausescu 😅) and its a public fund entity - hence it doesn't have the right to play in the first division 🤡(we have a law which states that only private run, private ownership or non-state clubs are allowed in the top professional league)
