A great big THANK-YOU for this video! I model RC truck & construction in 16th scale. I know how difficult it can be to cram all the electronics into some of the Bruder conversions I've done. I have been fascinated for a long time how everything fits into these small models. Your video provided me some insight to resolving this issue. Possibly one day I may try my hand at converting an 87th scale truck to be RC.

If this can be done with HO vehicles I'm of the opinion that the future of model railroading operating systems in regards to locomotives lies in on board power supply with a Bluetooth or some other wireless controller. Add in a detection system that shuts down the drive when there is a derailment. No more power districts etc. The only wiring required would be needed for switch machines for turnouts and visual effects. And some layouts could still be using manually operated turnouts.
