And as a maintainer, it made me happy for him to mention us. A lot of times we feel useless. Y’all are the ones making the real difference, we just feel like pee ons sometimes. Its nice to have the reminder that we matter too one team one fight Keep on keepin on brotha

As a former air force ground refueler, getting planes up in the sky as fast as possible was our goal, it's nice hearing this knowing all Afsc count, especially from high speed guys

He really brings it all home at the end when he speaks about the aircraft maintainers working all night. I used to hate hearing that stuff when I was in. The motived LT or Captain would always tell the troops that every job mattered and would we roll our eyes and wish he would wrap up his prep speech. But it is so true. I thorough FOD walk, as unappealing as it is, could save a life. Something else that he points out is the importance of being humble and how important it in order to learn and develop greater skills. Being humble is so important to learning

His team respected his sleep. They knew he was tired and let him take the nap because they knew, when bullets are flying and people are dying, SSgt Alaxey would get up and get the job done.
@LumberGirthBrooksSnacks2 жыл бұрын
They let him sleep, because often the CCT never gets to sleep, because there’s so many aircraft to control. Army JTAC here, I’ve worked along side many CCTs and special forces groups. CCT is the pinnacle of controllers. On every SF team, the CCT is the guy that never sleeps and is ALWAYS working. Seeing a CCT sleep is like seeing a unicorn. No one will believe you, and you don’t quite believe it yourself…

What is the difference between Jtac and CCT or TCAP
@sinslayr6833 жыл бұрын
JTAC is a qualification that CCT's and TACP's will achieve over the course of their pipelines. The difference between CCT's and TACP's though is that while CCT's and TACP's largely do the same thing, they simply do it in different scenarios. For example a CCT will like in the story above be attached to ODA's, SEALs, Rangers, or Marines, while TACP's will most often be attached to Army bats. I'm not an expert however if you want more detailed information I really recommend the podcast Ones Ready. They do a lot of really great informative episodes where they have guests on that really are experts while they themselves are also experts in their own fields.

That is a great question and what is the difference between ....JTAC TCAP CCT....???
@GamerXLegion3 жыл бұрын
@@sinslayr683 I would also add that CCTs are certified Air Traffic Controllers, which means a lot of their mission also includes setting up airfields and directing traffic like they did in response to the disaster in haiti.

What’s the difference between ...JTAC CCT JCAP
@mrshovelbottom74753 жыл бұрын
Idk what a JCAP is but, CCT: Conducts pathfinder, ATC, clearing airways etc for global access in the middle of a combat zone behind enemy lines. Because they are radio experts & have a lot of other quals like combat diver & free fall, why not integrate them with seals, green berets, and other foreign SOF? So a good 50% of them have a JTAC cert JTAC: Is a National cert for a man to legally called aircraft to release munitions. From my knowledge, the difference between FAC and JTAC is that FAC is only your own countries aircraft. This is the simplified version, I would recommend going to the pararescue reddit to look at post there or go to the "ones ready podcast" to get more info.

There is something really fucked up about referring to shooting and killing enemy soldiers as "doing the lord's work", and yet, I can completely understand why a soldier whose life was saved by this would phrase it that way.
