Handpans are particularly well-suited for meditative, melancholic music. If played well, they trigger intense emotions in the souls of those listening. Their music invites the listener to reconcile with the sad aspects of melancholy, bringing peace and relaxation. It is versatile and multifaceted. Additionally, their harmonies and melodies sound absolutely beautiful (if played well). For a while I thought that the combination of all of these elements could only be accomplished by the former duo Yatao, but this video makes me feel and hear that a single musician is enough: Panlix. His unique kind of music perfectly combines all the elements of good, expressive handpan music on the highest level.
