To those who are struggling (or who are brand new to guitar like me), keep practicing, same thing every time, as long as you try to improve your muscle memory will get better and you’ll get better and better, I’ve practically got this down after 3-4 hours of practice. It doesn’t matter if you skip some days btw, I skipped maybe 3 days of practice and it didn’t effect me :)

Just takes lots of practice Grant! Start slow, and play and play and play until you feel comfortable speeding up whatever song you are learning :)

it's really not hard, it's all about taking time and practicing, trust me, i have owned a guitar for over a year, and just started again a few days ago, already getting the hang of the basic stuff. Been playing on and off so i only had common feel on the guitar. Good luck! :D edit: with a littlebit of practice i can now do this song =)

So I almost always recommend buying used if you can from somewhere like Craigslist, but if that is not an option or you prefer new, this is my favorite beginner guitar: amzn.to/2KuS1qx I have this guitar and if you put some good strings (I love Elixir Strings) on it and get it set up correctly, it sounds and feels just as good as a MUCH more expensive guitar :)

Your fingers get more flexible the more you play and practice :) Just practice as much as possible and you will be able to make those stretches in no time!
