I must be one of the few, finding a thai golden nugget, at least among the dudes around here. Long story short. I feel sorry for this bloke,1 she's 20 years old. 2 she's already had 1 child, 3 she's gorgeous no doubt, she's kmer. And 4 she's already convinced you she's ready for more with you. There's no doubt she's playing hardball and no doubt she'll play even harder later down the track. I was lucky with mine, only because when I worked in Vietnam, she was taking care of my apartment. And my English mate owned the guest house so if she did play around when I was gone for 2 months at a time it was,nt while she was staying in my room. She did have her own room though. And I said to her when I,m gone I don't know and don't care because I was enjoying myself in Bangkok or Samui when passing through each time. Great thing for me was she was the only lady I,d ever gone home with, and that was in 2000, but in the end it only cost me around 60,000 to 70,000 baht over a 2 year period. I,d heard 2 many horror stories from the first few times I was there 7 or 8 years beforehand. In the end I made her choose between me and another poor bugger from Germany who was sending her money every month over 18 months of not seeing her. So he,s sending her money, and she sleeps with me for 5or6 weeks at a time, and like I said takes me home for marriage which, obviously didn't eventually. Because she played the wrong card telling her mum she was only 70% sure of me. Funny she was waiting for me to drop a huge dowry when I was there at her mums home, but her sister told me up to you, she understood me because my girlfriend said that to her mum. So here she was thinking I,ll put maybe 100 thou baht or something ridiculous. I left her mum 10,000 baht. Her sister smiled. When I got back to bangkok I give her another 10,000 and told her to make her mind over the next 2 months while I was in Vietnam. I returned she told me the German man was coming in another week for holidays. I said to her then you have to tell him you are finished. She thought I went back to Vietnam, I went to Samui instead and went back to Phuket 2 weeks later. Made her Choose. Big surprise for her, I just said you go with him, it's over for us. She was crying and telling me why, why, I said it's not fair for him or me. See that's what these ladies do, don't be fooled by them. They probably got 3 or 4 blokes on a string just fishing for the biggest catch. Trust me I was lucky, like I said I,ve spent a lot of time, and money over many years. But I've spread it around never ever dump Money on cars houses or family stuff. It's only going to cost you. Big time. Like I said to many horror stories always keep your eyes open. 🍻 😊

Could this work out? Yes, but the odds are against you, my friend. Even if her intentions are honest, which seems highly questionable, she is only 20 and will change a lot over the next few years. It is unlikely she will continue to find you as useful, and hence her interest will wane. My advice: only give her money now in proportion to how much value she currently provides you. Then if it goes sideways, at least you got something for your money. This is not necessarily just sex if you're lonely and value companionship. But don't get out over your skis on this one. This is great advice and so far you are the only one to point out that as long as he gives only in proportion to what he feels he is getting, then if things go poorly he received something of equal value to what he paid so all is good. And, it does seem he is getting more then just aerobics from her because there is an emotional connection on his part. Of course, we all know that emotional connection is probably a one way street in that she is probably not emotionally attached to him. Anyway, your advice is a good option for him. As the author himself acknowledges, he's suffering from White Knight Syndrome. It's not uncommon for guys who have years of experience in Southeast Asia to suddenly cast all that aquired knowledge to the wind and get into a relationship that they know damn well could destroy them. The problem with this particular sitiation is that he's let it go to far, to the point that if he abruptly withdraws support he'll feel like he's leaving her in the lurch (for example she'll have to discontinue her studies). To the author: You stuck your head into the lion's mouth, and now you need to get it out. Sit down and figure out an exit strategy. I'd suggest slowly tapering off the money and slowly disengaging. I think the heart of this problem is that from your first meeting with her you've come to feel responsible for her wellbeing, which says more about you than it does about her. You should do some introspection as to why this has happemed at this stage in your life. You should also repeat over and over again in your head "I am not responsible for this person, I am not responsible for this person" until it sinks in. Save yourself from yourself.

If you want to be in a long term relationship with a Cambodian bargirl, be prepared to be a one man UNDP/NGO poverty eradication charity. When banks charge 10% loan interest (higher for loansharks) many people are in a never ending debt trap where the repayment hardly covers the vig and doesn't pay down the principal sum. My girl was one and a half years into repaying loansharks like that and is another two years into a more structured but no less mercenary bank loan.
