After reading the book I couldn't wait for the movie to come out, so when it did I rushed to watch it and I can say it genuinely made me cry at the end. It's a story of wasted time and opportunities, of discrimination and loneliness, of wrong timing and circumstances: no one is to condemn but they all lived poorly because of their choices, especially Tom and Marion. We live nowadays in society where we have more rights, but in so many parts of the world the LGBTQ+ community is shamed for simply existing under the sky. If you are a queer kid, teen or adult and you happened to see this video and comment, just know that you are valid and that you are loved exactly the way you are.

A love story where it deserved a better outcome but I can't deny that every time I see the scene where Tom enters the room where Patrick is in his wheelchair and then he imagines him younger, when he feels his hug, his full kiss of love to later feel it present in his life again, Patrick's look changes in a special way as if he had received a balm for his soul, and a renewal in his heart, a moment that without a doubt the two had been waiting for a long time!😭😭❤️💯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✌️🎇🎆📽🎥🎬🎞🥰❤️🥲🥲🥲🥲😭😭😭😭

I just watched the movie yesterday and I can't get over it!The emotions,the intimacy, everything was so so beautifully portrayed in the movie!!I feel all three of them were the victims,but I connected more with Patrick's charecter,where he had to suffer all alone these years of loneliness!!I identify myself as a bisexual person but i am more drifted towards men now a days and its been a hard journey , which is still continuing!I'm 21 and I have not reveal it to a lot of people,not even my parents since I know they would never understand as they were always against this!!I felt so so bad for Patrick,that he was all alone in these years and had to lose his lover due to unavoidable fate,and I feel sometimes, maybe,I would end up being like him too at the end and that made me even more emotional at the end,that I might end up like him too without the kind of a person I really want or someone who would really love me unconditionally..
