I love Pastor’s response to the question about anxiety so much because I came to church battling so many mental health issues and I thought my friends were insensitive when they told me to just keep coming to church and hearing the word of God. Today I look back and everything I was worrying about has worked itself out. The word of God is enough, the Holy Spirit is enough, the gathering of the saints is enough🫶🏾

I have a testimony related to the topic of anxiety: I knew the word of God that says; “we’ve not received a spirit of timidity, ….”. I wasn’t a timid person generally but I was very self conscious and it prevented me from doing some important timely things. I was listening to Pastor Sir teaching on “in the sight of God” and he spoke about when Jesus said “You are they which justify yourself before me”. Just that word and by the Holy Spirit, light shun in my heart and I said “no, this is God’s word; I’m not they that justify themselves before men”. I was completely free from that bondage of being excessively self conscious. And anytime the thought came to me about if people are looking at me or etc, I’m strong in my reply, “I’m full of glory, it’s the glory of God in me that attracts people to look at me, the attention can’t stop me from any right thing I want to do, I don’t care about their thought on my action, I’m not they which justify themselves before men”. Glory to God, the word works ❤

In regards to mental health issues. I struggled with that from a young age. At one point I almost committed suicide. By the grace of God I’m alive and here to tell my story. As I went deeper into my faith, I kept feeling the Holy Spirit nudging me in the direction of therapy. That became something I started praying about because these issues are in a sense taboo in the Christian community. As I kept seeking God he showed me all the deeply rooted trauma and pain that I needed to overcome and by his grace I found a therapist who also serves God. Therapy has helped me speak up alot and work/working through deeply rooted trauma. Not everyone might need therapy but I always recommend as extra help.

God's Word is a Therapy. Any therapy that doesn't align with God's Word can't offer lasting solution. The right knowledge of the Word of God makes a Pastor a Great and the Right Therapist you need.

As someone who has been to therapy when I was in a dark place, I can testify that it did little to help. It was the word of God that gave me light and the power to break free. Thank you Pastor for making these essential truths readily available to us.

i agree...at the end there is a difference between problems caused by demons and those caused by scientific issues, and in some cases, a combination of both like, it can start scientifically, and a demon takes advantage like some mental issues that have symptoms like one who is possessed, or demon influenced... BUT, PASTOR ENOCH IS VERY RIGHT... THE WORD DOES SOLVE PROBLEMS BOTH SPIRITUAL AND NON SPIRITUAL, WETHER IN ISOLATION OR A COMBINATION... I AGREE_ But it requires the person to have faith in the Word

I love how relaxing and beautiful this setup is. God’s word is able to deal with the root cause of anxiety disorder and other mental health issues. Accept that there is help and yes God can help you completely. Most times we want quick fixes as well. Embrace the fact that you are on a journey and as you hear the word of God, the seed is been sown in you. You will reap the harvest because God’s word cannot lie to you. Read your Bible, listen to the Bible audio, play the Bible throughout the night. God is with you and you are already an overcomer through Christ. Anxiety disorders have an end and it is in Christ we experience that. Stay blessed.
