Ronnie wanted 2 do something a lil different with this song so it's not rap, he's narrating his 'Diary' & yes that's him singing. All of their videos are of movie quality. Ronnie definitely has some really, really solid vocal talent for different styles. Very versatile! Musically theres some very interesting ideas even if I'm not the biggest fan. Thanks for the nice bit of spiralling in the end! ;) But don't you worry - the rest of their discography is absolutely NOT butts. This man is astonishingly talented in singing, rapping AND harsh vocals. On top of that his lyrics are great and most of the videos are outright movies. You are in for a treat! Where to go now, tho? I think you would enjoy his reimaginations of his older songs in direct comparison to the originals (The Drug In Me Is You / The Drug In Me Is Reimagined; I'm not a Vampire / I'm not a Vampire Revamped). But there's also a lot to learn about Ronnie and what he can do by looking at Popular Monster, Voices in My Head, Zombified, Watch The World Burn and Ronald... tho that last one is a collaboration and has a whole new level of intensity that i wouldn't recommend for an actual second impression, tho it is also crazy impressive. Anyway, enough of my opinions, I'm just looking forward to seeing you falling down this rabbit hole - in reverse. :D

I was introduced to falling in reverse with the revamped version of I'm not a vampire and I was instantly hooked as a metal head. I'm also an absolute fan of Ren and there is so much brilliance in Ronnie that puts me in mind of Ren but in a different way. When I heard the song Ronnie did with Alex Terrible and Tech N9ne, holy fucking shit, Ronald (the song) is gods damned mind blowing in every way. If he is using AI, then it is the first use of it that doesn't give me pause.

FiR is honestly such a great band. If you really want to see the range i would suggest "the drug in me is you" then "the drug in me is reimagined". And "im not a vampire" then the revamped version. Also, the trilogy- "losing my mind", "losing my life" and "drugs" (in order). Then there's "all my life" that they did with jelly roll. But "watch the world burn" is my favorite song. ♡

You have to watch the rest of his videos to get this. Ronnie can do it all rap, rock, country, you name it. Ronnie croosovers on everything. When he started he was in a band called Escape the Fate from 2004 to 2008. He found himself in trouble with the law in 2008 and ended up going to prison. He was on parole. He had a friend and Ronnie went to meet him. There was a fight and his friend shot and killed s guy. Ronnie was carry brass knuckles at the time snd eas put on parole. Ronnie missed his Court date and went to prison for 2 1/2 years. Prison is where Ronnie sobered up and started dealing with his issues. His mom abandoned him , his brother and his father. He was very young when it happened. While he was in prison he wrote The drug in me is you and I am not a vampire to only flip things around 11 years later where he reimagined and Revamped them. I would first start off with Popular Monster The Drug in me is you/ The Drug in Me Reimagined I am not a Vampire/ I am not a vampire revamped These two original songs should be done with their originals in 1 videos each .. The trilogy in this order Losing my mind Losing My Life Drugs Zombiefied Voices in My Head Watch the World Burn The Sequel to Watch the World Burn is a cover from Papa Roach called Last Resort Reimagined Ronald All my life Are the ones you might want to listen to first. When they started out they were an emo/ scene band so it's different. He just did a European tour selling over 75k in tickets in Great Britain alone but they changed a law or something and couldn't in for some reason. Trust me this is a rabbit hole you will want to go down. Enjoy!

I really love Falling in Reverse both the rap and rock/metal side. All their tracks are great. But just as mostly everone these days the recorded vocals are autotuned. Fil from Wings of Pegasus youtube channel have showed this on the Last Resort track. But thats just industry standard nowadays...

Yeah, tbh it is becoming industry standard and whilst I’ve heard it on things like Sleep Token and the like I’m choosing not to touch it with a ten foot barge pole. Unlike yourself a lot of people still can’t hear it and take it as a slight against the artist so for the most part, unless I think it’s really over the top I’ll ignore it where possible. Ronnie can sing sweetly, scream powerfully, growl harshly and rap eloquently. You really need to deep dive on his stuff from the last several years. "I'm Not A Vampire" (revamped) is a major cinematic production and huge vocals. He went on a stretch where he redid some of his older songs in a way more grandiose way.
