I put a gun to my head. My teenager got the gun away or I might not be here. I since have been diagnosed with ptsd and depression from the accident.

I sobbed the first time I heard/watched this. I was 17 when Papa Roach’s song came out. It resonated with me & was always one of my favorite angsty anthems when I was struggling. This version cut my soul open & the desperation in Ronnie’s voice makes me feel the same way the original did, just in this era of my life. Absolutely beautiful.

First of all… Thank You for your service sir. My husband is a 100% Permanently, Totally, Disabled Vietnam Veteran. He also served Two different Sheriff’s departments, and did Undercover Narcotics for years. Welcome Home to any other Vietnam Veterans out there, and any Veterans, or current Military. This particular group of Veterans were treated horribly by US Citizens. They were spit on, called baby killers, etc… I can remember it too vividly… I fell in Love with FIR a little over a year ago. I was watching another reaction video to a different artist and the same reactor , reacted to “Zombified”! Within the week is when “Watch the World Burn” came out… OMG 😱 I’ve literally been hooked ever since. I strictly listen to Independent Artists only now because mainstream music is NOTHING like it was back in my day!!! Unfortunately, due to insane weather issues and severe property damage last year I was unable to see FIR (twice). We are Cattle Ranchers and, well priorities… 😊 I’m praying 🙏 that they come back this year, I can’t wait to see them. Ronnie touched my heart ♥️ vividly with the reimagined version of “Last Resort” by Papa Roach. I lost my daughter in 2017 to suicide. It was 11 days before her 25th birthday ❤️‍🩹💔. I have to work on myself daily, although it was almost 7 years ago, a Mother will NEVER forget how she felt at the exact moment of finding out… it’s like your in the twilight zone, and you really never escape… To anyone out there feeling like you can’t take another day… PLEASE reach out to someone… talk to someone… please don’t give up… 🙏 We all have day’s with struggles. Please just keep pushing through. Get to a show, also there is a over 5 minute video of Ronnie having Jacoby, lead singer of Papa Roach, listening to it for the first time, Ronnie is nerves and Jacoby is vibing to it! Great reaction again bro 🔥 I've been a falling in reserve can for many years and Ronnie has still got that unique voice that made him stand out from the rest I loved the Papa Roach version but this is so good and moving Don't know if you noticed there's a nod at the end of the video to their song Let the World Burn where it shows the fire engulfing the earth at the very end of the video well in this one it shows those fires receding and the earth back to normal Another Rabbit hole of a group to go down is Avenged Sevenfold especially the songs Nightmare and So Far Away which is a tribute to their long life friend and drummer in the band who sadly passed away after a long time battle with addiction and depression

Yes , Ronnie's video production is a top-tier movie level for sure. Wait till you see I am not Vampire and the revamped version. I hope you do them both in one video so you can compare the 2. There is 10 years age difference between the 2 songs, released 2011 and 2021, respectively. Ronnie's creative genius is on another level.

1) “my neck is prepared, my ears are prepared, my seat is prepared”…… I said ummmmm “no your not” out loud 😂. 2) this song is one of the best songs I’ve heard lyrically and also the way Ronnie delivers it 🤯. 3,4,5,6,7) (sorry long comment coming, feel free to skip….I’m talking to I’m him personally for a moment, public safety stuff 😉) I’m an EMT and have been since I was 18 years old. I HATE running suicide calls. They were so hard, not just for the “patient” but having to sit with the families waiting on the ME to get there. Ugh it’s tough tough tough. And people forget that we have to see it every day. Those calls were some of the worst and most violent calls we have to go to. Out of the thousands of calls I’ve run in my career, other than a select few situations, I remember those more than most others we run. (That’s also why I understand your take on certain things that if you aren’t in public safety and have to be in those homes with the people and their families and the stuff we then have to deal with emotionally is rough). I remember someone being upset in your comments one time about wearing your police hat and that pissed them off, I HAD to say something back to that. It angers me when people that don’t know what it’s like on “our side” of these situations and then telling you they were “offended” by you wearing your hat. I remember commenting that you wear that hat and wear it proudly because we know why we are in public safety. It’s not for the money, that’s FOR SURE, it’s not a power trip, it’s none of the above. We do it because for me it was a calling. And when you’ve been in public safety for as long as I have and you have, it’s because it’s in our blood to care about people and their wellbeing. Sorry idk why this brought that back up. But I’ve been in the position of this song before because I have PTSD and struggled with it for at least 15 years now. It’s not like we are invincible and don’t have to deal with people in these situations. It’s HARD on us as well and people need to think about what they would/could do if they had to see the WORST of humanity (in our jobs anyway) 95% of the time. It’s not an easy thing to deal with every day but we do it because we are in it for the right reasons and we then can end up with PTSD from it and I ended up in this position (of the song) so when you KNOW then you KNOW. I’m also so glad you didn’t let them tell you that you couldn’t wear a police hat 🤦🏼‍♀️. Anyway, sorry for the long comment. I’m bad about that lol.
